Our team

Claire and John bought Westlands Farm 12 years ago . Initially Claire ran a successful livery business before she purchased her first stallion Diago and Westlands Stud was created.

Claire has had horses all her life, and has competed and produced horses for dressage, eventing and showing.
Claire qualified as an AI technician in 2007 and her passion for breeding horses has grown.

Zac joined Westlands 4 years ago to produce and compete our young stallions. He has been involved with horses since childhood. He has competed internationally and trained with some of the top trainers around the world. He is passionate about training young, and difficult horses.

Charlene has been involved with the stud for many years. After doing a science degree she joined Westlands on a permanent basis. Charlene is heavily involved with the breeding and reproduction work.
